Warranty, Service & Returns
We do all warranty work and service here in Saskatchewan. We always try to troubleshoot your issue first and send replacement parts whenever possible to get you back up and running quickly. If further service is required, we'll arrange for one of our technicians to inspect your machine.
Warranty Rules and things to know
The AKM6230 machine has a 7-year factory warranty which covers the machine base. The stainless steel bowl, accessories, and attachments are covered under a 1-year warranty.
The warranty only applies to machines used in your own household and when you have followed the instructions in the manual. The warranty does not apply to transport damage or in the event of incorrect or careless usage or commercial use. The warranty does not apply in the event of incorrect maintenance. The machine must not be used for anything other than what it is intended for. The machine must not be opened or otherwise repaired by anyone other than personnel from Ankarsrum or a designated service point for the warranty to apply.

Within 30 Days of Purchase:
Ankarsrum will cover all fees, including shipping, parts, and labour. The item will be either repaired or replaced based on an assessment of the claim.
After 30 Days:
The customer will be responsible for all shipping and related fees.
To expedite the process, please include photos of the item and a copy of your purchase invoice. Also, ensure that the address provided is correct for shipping replacement parts, if needed.
Using Your Ankarsrum Correctly
To ensure your machine and accessories perform properly, all components must be used according to the instructions provided. Using accessories incorrectly or using them for tasks they are not designed for may result in damage that is not covered under warranty.
For example: the clear plastic bowl and cookie/beater whisks are not intended for thick or chunky cookie doughs. These recipes should be mixed using the stainless steel bowl with the roller and scraper.

Online Return Policy
We encourage you to do plenty of research before making your purchase. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please read the following guidelines to ensure a smooth return process:
Return Window
You can return UNUSED items within 30 days from the date of purchase for a full refund, but shipping costs are at your own expense.
You can return used items within 30 days from the date of purchase with 10% reduction of purchase price and shipping costs are at your own expense.
